Individual Volunteer Positions

Medical Volunteers

Medical volunteers are licensed medical professionals who volunteer their time in the clinic to assist with prenatal care. Prenatal clinics are typically held one afternoon per month. Shadowing opportunities are also available on a limited basis for medical students.  Email Katie, our Nurse Manager, at katie@womenshope.org

Client Advocates

Client advocates meet with our patients when they come in for their initial pregnancy test, and they follow up with them throughout their pregnancy. They typically commit to one 4-hour shift per week. Volunteers receive training on how to work with clients, and they will have opportunities to shadow other experienced client advocates before starting their own shifts. Ideally, client advocates are 21 years or older.

Hope Family Center Volunteers

Hope Family Center volunteers commit to at least one shift per week. Their responsibilities will include greeting our clients when they come in for our baby boutique and helping them check out at the reception desk. Other tasks will  vary week to week but may include helping clients in our parenting classes, sorting donations, as well as other seasonal projects.  Email Sarah, our Administrative Director, at elizabeth@womenshope.org.
